Competitive Poo Hunters

Elsie: Who says Fred is the only one who can curl his tongue. I can do better. I can FOLD my tongue.

Fred: Geez, Elsie. Competitive, much???

*shakes head*

 Fred: Girls....

What was that Fred?

Fred: uh.. nothing. I think I've found something..

That's right, it's safer to change the subject.

Fred: No really, I have! Hey Els, come check it out! I think it's poo!!!

Elsie: Oh yeah!!! Pooo....

Geez you two puppies are like broken records. It's all poo, poo, poo with you two.

Blunt Words and Manipulative Faces

Fred: So I was really bored the other day and realised I can twirl my tongue. See? haha..

Elsie: You make it out like it's some sort've mad crazy trick. It's not.

Fred: Geez Elsie. Talk about pulling no punches.

Fred: Mum, you really need to talk to Elsie about being less blunt and mean. It really hurts my feelings.

Elsie, Fred has a point you know. You really should be nicer to him.

Elsie: Just like when he finds a bone and refuses to share??

Elsie: You see my point?

Grape Guarder

Recently our grape vines got attacked by some ugly caterpillars. Elsie decided to take it on herself to keep an eye on the grapes.

 Elsie: the caterpillars look skeeery.

Elsie: Still, I'll keep an eye on them for mum and dad. It's a tough job but I'll do it.

Elsie: What's Fred got over there? I think he's got a bone! Damn.. I want a bone. But I signed up for Caterpillar Duty and mum's got the camera so I can't sneak off. Double Damn!

Some Stalkery and Sniffery

A few weeks back Fred and Elsie had another playdate with the neighbours. To refresh your memory here are Fred and Elsie's two friends.

Rascal the Hyperactive Stalker

 and Dexter the Stick Chaser

When we got to the gate both puppies ran up to greet me and then went about their way. Once I let my two in however, all bets were off as Dexter was excited beyond words to see his best buddy Fred.

They went off to check out the chook pen, ran circles around the house and then drank gallons of water before doing it all over again.

Meanwhile Elsie was busy sniffing the place out.

Dexter: Hi Elsie. What you doing?

Elsie: Just sniffing some grass.

Dexter: what you doing now?

Elsie: sniffing some more grass.

Elsie: Hey! What are you doing?!

Dexter: Just sniffing.

*gulp* That's one fine mighty stare, Elsie.

Meanwhile, where's Rascal in all of this?

Ah, Elsie knows. That wink says it all. Little do we know that that blur of red in the bottom corner is in fact Rascal's trademark red blur.

Here is Stalker!Rascal showing off some of her moves.

Rascal: I've got him in my sights now!!!

Dexter: Hrmm... did I just hear something?

Dexter: I think I might get up and go investigate.

Eavesdropping on the puppies

Fred: I don't know about you, but I quite like it here. regular meals, lots of cuddles, yummy roo and wombat poo, what more could a wolfie want?

Elsie: let's see.. bones 24/7, roos and wombats that we were actually allowed to chase, a chance to stay inside with the Boss' all the time and a couch of my own. Being stuck outside sometimes is the absolute pits.

Fred: Geez Elsie. You don't ask for much! I don't mind so much. I like being outdoors. And it's not like we don't get lots of cuddles when we come inside. Cheer up. Wanna go for some chasies?
